But, if you can’t have the ultimate experience of being at the auction in person (let’s face it…there is nothing to match the joy of seeing dolls first-hand, sharing in the camaraderie of collecting, feeling the excitement of the auction pace) then we have a whole new alternative to our popular absentee and phone bidding options.
Live Internet bidding!
Theriault’s has teamed up with Proxibid to bring you all of our Marquis catalog auctions live over the internet in real time. Now you can follow the auction with every lot, bid instantly as an item is being offered, even hear the auction over a delayed broadcast feed. Starting with our Gala Las Vegas event on May 15-16, you can bid, interact and participate in every aspect of the auction experience on the Internet. 
The How To's:
-Go to Proxibid to register at Proxibid and sign up for the auction. (You will need to register for each auction…just as if you were there.)
-Follow the easy to understand instructions for bidding and signing in at the time of the auction.
-Watch the bidding and be spontaneous! You can place a bid live and it will be executed for you immediately at the auction…as if you raised your hand in the crowd.
-Listen to the auction as it is taking place…but remember; the live radio feed has a slight delay so it is best that you bid based upon what you see on your screen…not what you hear! Imagine, all of Stuart’s horrible auction jokes will now be heard live across the world!
-Broadband (that is High-Speed, DSL, Cable etc.) connections will work best. Though it is possible, we do not recommend dial-up modem connections for live bidding.

-An easy to use interface at Proxibid means even the most novice of computer users will have no trouble at all with the process.
-No additional Buyers Premium. Yep, that’s right...while the industry standard has been to charge an additional fee to successful Internet bidders….Theriault’s will maintain the buyers premium at the same rate for all successful bidders online.

-Nothing will ever replace seeing the dolls in person and experiencing the fun and joy of a live auction

As such, we recommend that customers still place phone bids on dolls of extreme importance to be doubly sure of the opportunity to bid. -You must be registered with Proxibid and signed in for the auction at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the event. You may come and go as you please after signing in, but please do not wait until the auction has already started to initially sign up for this fun opportunity.
