1811 English Paper Doll and Book "Ellen,the Naughty Girl Remembered"

Protected inside its original slipcase is a 4" x 5" book with brown paper covers and beautifully lettered title. The 19 interior pages tell the story of Ellen in nine scenes,and to accompany the scenes there are nine cut-out hand-colored vignettes of Ellen in various costumes. Also included are five separate hats and one head. Excellent condition with beautifully preserved vignettes and rich colors,exterior folio has some aging. Printed for S&J Fuller,Temple of Fancy,by D.N. Shury,Berwick Street,Soho,London. Dated 1811 on title page.
