14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted dark lashes, brush-stroked and feathered brows, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Bru Jne 5 (head) Bebe Bru No. 5 (body stamp). Comments: Bru, circa 1890, the new style body was introduced at that time. Value Points: very dear all-original bebe has lovely bisque and expression, original signed body, and is wearing original silk faille dress with lace trim and original red silk label "Bebe Bru Paris", original factory undergarments, socks and leather shoes marked "Bebe Bru Paris".
