Bisque swivel head on kid-lined bisque shoulderplate, blue glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, blonde mohair wig with long braids, original commercial twill stitch-jointed body, bisque forearms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S 1041-5 H (shoulderplate) SH 1039-5 dep (head). Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1895. Value Points: original mohair wig, sturdy original body, and wearing elaborate original traditional costume including coiffe and raised grape emblems on vest lacing chains.
