All-cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted facial features, blonde hair with bangs and short bob, painted brown eyes, painted curly lashes, red and brown upper eyeliner, single-stroke brows, closed mouth, dimpled cheeks, sateen covered body, oil-painted lower arms and legs, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (logo of Dutch girl stamp on leg) Marshall Field Co. Comments: Martha Chase, the doll was commissioned and sold by the famed Chicago store of Marshall Fields, circa 1915. Value Points: rare model in perfectly-preserved original finish, with original store label.
