American Cloth Character Doll by Martha Chase with Side-Parted Hair

All-cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted facial features and complexion, blonde short bobbed hair in rare side-parted fashion with dainty shaped curls onto cheeks, shaded blue painted eyes with white eyedots, red upper eyeliner, long painted curly lashes, blonde brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with very full lips, all-oil-painted body with stitch-jointing at hips and shoulders, separate thumbs, defined fingers, nice antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, small rub on upper lip. Comments: Martha Chase, circa 1920. Value Points: wonderfully-preserved rare model with distinctively-painted hair style, plump blushed cheeks and chin accented by deeply-impressed dimple at the center of chin.
