All-cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted facial features, impasto blonde hair, shaded blue eyes, dark upper eyeliner, closed mouth, sateen body cover, oil-painted arms and legs, bare feet, antique baby gown and undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Martha Chase, circa 1900. Value Points: especially expressive features, pert smile. Presented in spool-turned wooden bed with handmade silk patchwork quilt, and with a vintage sepia photograph of child holding a similar Chase doll.
