Composition head with golden-brown complexion,sculpted hair with small black curls and sculpted ribbon loop for insertion of feather,painted facial features,side-glancing black eyes,closed mouth with beaming cheek-to-cheek smile,muslin body,golden-brown composition hands,felt costume that may be original. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: circa 1915,an identical model is shown in CollectorÍs Encyclopedia of American Dolls by Mertz in its original box labeled "Amberg Dolls...This is Skookum,Made under Exclusive License from the Northwestern Fruit Exchange..." Value Points: amusing rare caricature doll whose original finish is well preserved.
