American Composition Doll "Miss Curity" in Pristine State

21" (53 cm.) All composition, socket head, blue sleep eyes, lashes, dark eyeshadow, painted curly lower lashes, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with richly-shaded lips, jointing at shoulders and hips, blonde mohair wig with soft curls. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: American, circa 1940s, a series of dolls and figures were created to promote the Curity brand of nursing products; among them was this very rare doll model. Value Points: pristine condition of the doll with flawless bisque, soft curls of original coiffure, original nursing gown with Miss Curity signature, cap, undergarments, socks and shoes.
