American Lithographed Cloth Doll "Little Jack Horner" from Babyland Rag Series

15" (38 cm.) Print-lithographed fabric face which is stitch-attached to firmly-stuffed muslin head form, well-defined facial features and hair, muslin body with stitch jointing at shoulders and hips, mitten hands with defined thumbs. Condition: generally excellent, slightly age-darkened. Comments: Babyland Rag from Horsman, circa 1912, Little Jack Horner as shown in an early catalog of the firm. Value Points: well-preserved doll wearing original crisply-preserved costume and kidskin shoes.
