paper-covered cardboard box with heavy cello
window is a wedding party of eight
dolls,comprising 7" Bride,Groom and four
Bridesmaids,along with 5 1/2" Flower Girl and
Ring Bearer,each of painted bisque with painted
facial features,jointed arms,mohair wigs,and each
richly costumes to represent their role. The
dolls are still tied into their original
presentation box. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: K&H USA. Comments: Kerr and Hinz,circa
1945,for Dollcraft,the Santa Clara doll firm that
created their look-alike Nancy Ann Storybook
Dolls until restrained by a lawsuit by the Nancy
Ann firm; among the Dollcraft Kerr and Hinz line
was a wedding series,represented here in its
totality in a deluxe presentation. Value Points:
