American Wooden Mule on Half-Roly by Schoenhut

7" (18 cm.) diam. 13" mule upright on base. A half-ball-shaped roly has original painted finish with decorative garlands, and supports a wooden Schoenhut mule which is posed on hind legs. The donkey has original grey painted finish, glass eyes, open mouth, leather ears and tail. Condition: very good, original painted finish of roly albeit scuffed. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1910. Value Points: rarely-found novelty toy by Schoenhut with excellent carving of mule.
