American Wooden Smiling Character Girl by Schoenhut with Sculpted Hair

14" (36 cm.) All wooden doll with socket head, sculpted hair in short bobbed style, the hair waved back and held by a sculpted pink hair bow, blue painted eyes with black pupils and white eyedots, tinted brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth in smiling expression with row of beaded teeth, all-spring jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan. 17th, 1911 USA. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1912, model 101.
