8" (20 cm.) All-wooden monkey with two-part head, painted white face with brown eyes, wide mouth with two rows of painted teeth, jointing at shoulders and legs. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Schoenhut, Style I of the circus performer monkey, circa 1905. Value Points: wonderfully-preserved original painted finish, with original clown hat and red felt costume with yellow fringe.
