American Wooden Wild Animal Parade Cage by Schoenhut

30" (76 cm.) overall. 15"h. The wooden-framed wild animal cage with metal bars and embossed decorations, has original red finish with gilt accents, wooden bench, and is being pulled by two dappled wooden horses on wheeled platform, the horses with carved manes and painted eyes. Inside the cage is a carved wooden lion with ball-socket neck, painted eyes and closed mouth. Condition: very good overall, original finish albeit a bit faded. Comments: American, Schoenhut, 1915.
