10" (25 cm.) l. 9"h. A paper-mache tree branch is posed,see-saw fashion,on a paper mache base,and seated on either end of the branch is a paper mache elephant baby with glass eyes,red silk bow,arms posed akimbo for balance. A hidden "nodding" weight in the base allows the elephants to see-saw back and forth when tapped. Excellent condition. French,circa 1900.
