Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, large blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent, pierced ear holes pulled through. Marks: 7 (head and shoulders) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1878. Value Points: especially beautiful poupee with dramatic paperweight eyes, original wig, very firm original body, original couturier costume, and presented in original box with Jumeau label.
