Burgundy Wool-Twill Dropped Waist Dress and Velvet Bonnet

5" shoulder width. 14" hips. 10" overall length. The wool-twill dress in a rich burgundy color features a dropped waist with wide pleats at the bodice above a box-pleated skirt. The long coat sleeves have lace cuffs,and there is matching lace trim at the neckline,hem,and around the wide hip sash. There are handmade buttonholes and buttons at the back. With burgundy velvet bonnet that is wire-framed and trimmed with a burgundy silk satin bow. The dress has extensive moth holes. Circa 1882.
