velour turban decorated with sequin trimmed
felt feathers,felt flowers and berries,white
organdy multi-tiered ruffled gown with red
rick-rack edging over multi-layered
petticoats,six rows of colorful beads. Marked
"Irene Saltern Original" on skirt. The legendary
Irene Saltern was a noted wardrobe designer
for Hollywood studios including Universal and
Samuel Goldwyn during the years
1938-1941,creating nearly 1000 costumes for
over 150 actresses.
