Gilt metal mounts form the feet and decorate the upper corners, and the cabinet has original ochre-gold paint with gilt painted wood carving around each window, door and roof. Delicately-colored flowers and cherubic scenes decorate the front and sides, and the interior is upholstered in patterned silk, with two removable glass shelves for display. When the porcelain knob at the front is turned, music plays and the dolls move about in various playful actions. Condition: generally excellent.
