vivid red and yellow with images of Cookie and
Daisy, fender and bumper, has emerging heads of
Dagwood and Blondie. When wound, the car rolls
along cause Blondie and Dagwood to bounce up and
down, their loosely attached hats appearing to be
blowing in the wind. Very good condition, some
restoration to grillwork. Marked "Marx" and car

16" (40 cm). Pink tinted bisque socket-head with
solid dome and neck stringing loop, painted
blonde brushstroked hair under blonde mohair wig,
intaglio narrow blue eyes with prominent black
pupils, black and incised eyeliner, feathered
brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth in very
pronounced crying expression, defined tongue,
shaded and accented lips, deeply sculpted frown
lines around the mouth, composition and wooden
ball-jointed body, antique blue woolen suit,
saddle shoes. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: 6 Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach,
their 7634 model, circa 1912. Value Points: very
dramatic and expressively sculpted character with
choice bisque and painting.
14" (35 cm). Heavy plate-metal car in shades of
red and navy blue has rubber-edged wheels,
fender, bumper, G-man inside car with gun. When
wound, the car rolls along and makes noise as
though gun is shooting. Excellent condition,
works. Marked "Louis Marx, Pat. Pending" and "G-
Man Pursuit Car" with shield portraying eagle
enclosed by words "Justice G-Man" on doors and
trunk. American, Marx, circa 1930's.

color with yellow lettering, rubber-edged wheels,
headlights, running boards, bumper, fender. When
wound, the car rolls along and siren sounds.

sculpted hair in center part with vertical rows
of curls framing either side of the face, painted
teal blue eyes with black upper eyeliner and
lashes, single-stroke brows, closed mouth with
accent line between coral lips, old muslin stitch-
jointed body with paper mache hands, antique
costume. Condition: generally excellent, face
complexion a bit faded. Marks: Greiner's Patent

hair and beautiful painted eyes.
21" (53 cm). Paper mache shoulderhead with oval
face and slightly elongated throat, black
sculpted hair with center part and long ringlet
curls tucked behind her ears, dark blue upper-
glancing eyes, painted upper eyeliner, single-
stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners,
closed mouth with prim smile, blushed cheeks,
muslin stitch-jointed body, antique costume.
Condition: generally excellent, some slight
complexion fading and rubs. Comments: Germany,
circa 1860. Value points: beautifully detailed
hair and most appealing expression.
6 1/2" (16 cm). Bisque socket-head, brown glass
sleep eyes, mohair lashes, painted lashes,
brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, open
mouth, four teeth, composition five-piece body,
silk romper suit. Condition: generally excellent.
