Three paper dolls depicting men in profile pose are presented in a blue parchment folio,including 5.5" aged gentlemen and 5.5" young man with 11 interchangeable costumes designed to fit either man,7 hats,periwig,and 3 unusual face masks with attached hats; along with a smaller 5" man,profile posed for standing or horseback riding,having six variations of military costume,10 hats or helmets,flag,and 6 fancy saddles. Each is hand drawn and hand-colored. Excellent condition with beautifully preserved water-colors. Attributed to Bestelmeier,Germany,circa 1800.
