16" (41 cm.) All-cloth doll with pressed facial features, front-facing painted blue eyes with curly lashes, closed mouth, blushed cheeks, blonde mohair wig in soft curls, stitch-jointing at shoulders and hips. Wearing blue dress with flowered print, organdy ruffled pockets, matching bonnet with wide ruffle, slip, pantalets, socks, black front-snap shoes with silver buckles. The costume is tagged (faintly) "Little Em'ly Madame Alexander New York". Excellent condition except fading to dress at back left. Alexander, from the Dickens Series, 1934.
