Composition pear-shaped socket head,painted brown center-parted hair,large ears,black painted "O" shaped eyes,pointy nose,wide beaming smile,composition five piece body with sewn-on over-sized brown oil cloth shoes with tan undersoles. Wearing original black flannel suit,green cotton print shirt,bow tie. Marked "Knickerbocker Toy" on doll,and "Columbia Pictures Corp,Blondie with Baby Dumpling,Dagwood and Daisy,c. King Features Syndicate" on paper hang tag. Knickerbocker,circa 1935. Depicted is Dagwood from the Blondie comic strip created by Chic Young in the early 1930̴s.
