5 " shoulders. 16" overall length. A very luxurious emerald-green velvet fabric composes the high-waisted gathered dress,accented by a rose silk yoke with embroidered tulle overlay. Coat-style sleeves are edged with lace at the cuffs,and there are velvet bretelles that extend over the shoulders and are edged with ruffled silk satin. There is a matching bonnet with a frou-frou of gathered ruffles around the face and a large silk ribbon atop the head. Circa 1890.
