Delightful Pair, "Zaza" and "Pierre" Poodles from Posey Pets Series with Her Original Box

16" (41 cm.) Each is firmly-stuffed black velvet poodle posed seated upright, lavish black yarn curly loops, lavender-lined satin ears with tassel tips, black bead eyes, purple and blue eye lining, red heart-shaped nose. Near mint condition. Madame Alexander, 1952, he is decorated with collar, bow tie, lapel flower, and monocle; and she is decorated with satin throat ribbon and hair bow, and carries floral bouquet. She is preserved in her original yellow box stamped "Za-Za", and with gilt Fashion Award emblem.
