The earthenware shoulder head angel is sculpted with her head turned to the side,with sculpted flowing brown hair,enamel eyes,oil-painted complexion and features,wrapped armature body,earthenware lower arms and legs with bare feet,wearing metallic gown gown with aqua silk sash and wings,and posed as though flying. Condition: generally excellent,one finger tip broken. Comments: Neopolitan,early 19th century. Value Points: superb original finish and exquisite artistry of painting including details such as tiny teeth,posed fingers,sculpted tips of ears with delicate blushing.
