Bisque socket head, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, lightly-feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with row of painted teeth, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, early composition and wooden fully-jointed body with jointed ankles. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 11. Comments: Kestner, circa 1890. Value Points: rarity factors include painted teeth and jointed ankles, with very fine modeling of plump cheeks, fine delicate bisque, original body and body finish, velvet antique costume, woven bonnet, antique shoes and socks, and carrying little Steiff dog "Molly" with original bell and paper label.
