Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass spiral-threaded eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, ears pierced into head, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French wooden body with shapely torso and dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1870, attributed to Pierre-François Jumeau. Value Points: beautiful gentle expression, finest bisque, rare all-wooden body with original finish, and wearing superb antique rose silk faille gown with bead and silk ribbon trim, undergarments, stockings, shoes.
