12" (30 cm.) Softly-stuffed teddy of golden silky mohair has velvet snout with black embroidered nose tip and mouth, amber eyes, side-stitched ears, jointed arms and legs, brown felt paw pads, bells intact in ears although no sound. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Merrythought Ironbridge, Shrops. Made in England (cloth label on foot). Comments: Merrythought, 1950s. Value Points: wonderfully-preserved condition and great bear expression.
