22" (56 cm.) Poured wax shoulderhead with delicate rose complexion, blue glass eyes, tinted features, closed mouth, brunette hair separately inserted into scalp, muslin body, poured wax lower arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent, hair is somewhat sparse, some frailty to silk. Comments: English, possibly Montanari, circa 1865. Value Points: the doll wears her original gown with matching bonnet, undergarments, shoes.
