111 . Very Rare French Doll with Laminated Cloth Body Attributed to the Designs of Brouillet-Cacheleux
29" (74 cm.) x 28" x 12". The wooden doll house with original painted exterior to simulate brick and stone work has architecturally-detailed roof line, three stairs to the opening front door with arched window above the door, constructed sills on the outlined windows with painted panes. The entire front facade hinges open to the interior comprising four large high-ceiling rooms, each with built-in fireplace, and the kitchen with wide chimney, open hearth, and built-in stove. The house is well-preserved in its original state, with original paints and papers inside and out. Excellent condition. English, Silber and Fleming, circa 1875.
