Extraordinary German Porcelain Half-Doll "Lady with Floral Wreath" by Aelteste Volkstedter

Waist-up porcelain lady posed with head turned to the side and arms outstretched, her left arm holding a garland wreath decorated with Dresden flowers, shaded brown hair decorated with feathers, combs and ribbons, with double-tiered ruffles of Dresden lace at her cuffs and collar. Excellent condition, professional restoration on feathers and blue dress ribbon. Bearing blue crown stamp of Aelteste Volkstedter Porzellanfabrik. Germany, circa 1915, an outstanding and rare model with meticulous detail of lace and floral trim, distinctive pose.
