Each is porcelain full-body figure of man and woman with sculpted and imaginatively-painted country costumes, sculpted hair, she with basket of Dresden flowers carried on her head and a basket of strawberries at her side, and he carrying bowl of Dresden flowers in his right arm, and a basket of strawberries, each mounted on original matching stand. Marks: (blue bishop's staff stamp) 4438 (incised). Excellent condition. Germany, Dressel & Kister, circa 1900.
