4 " inside head width. 10" outside hat brim. Of a
richly-textured silk fabric with overcast
detail,the bonnet has wide brims,one side brim
turned up to reveal a rich frou-frou of narrow
silk ribbons,with a richly-draped arrangement of
embroidered cutwork on the outside brim. Along
with a crocheted silk-lined purse with ball
fringe,and a silk twill ribbon label with woven
lettering "Mlle Camille Lipman/2 Rue de la
Paix/Paris". Circa 1880.

An exquisitely-woven silk pattern enhances the
pale green color The long hip-length faux-jacket
is dart-shaped and elegantly swagged at the
sides,has a low-rounded collar with double rows of
ruffled lace at neckline and cuffs of sleeves.
The same lace,along with a pale green silk
fringe,appears around the edges of the faux-jacket
and also trims the three-tiered borders of the
skirt. A muslin underskirt with adjustable ties to
accommodate a bustled back extends into a silk
train that has further borders of lace and silk
fringe. Circa 1870.

pale rose silk satin the gown has hand-stitched
tucks at the bodice that is framed by a wide
ruffle of lace,fitted sleeves,and full skirt with
back wide pleats. There is generous lace trim at
the throat,neckline,cuffs,and forming an apron at
the upper skirt. Circa 1875.

dainty rose/cream tiny checkered pattern cotton
forms the two-piece ensemble,with dart-shaped
fitted jacket having hidden hook and eye closure
at the front,and box-pleats at the jacket back
hips. There are constructed cuffs,and there is a
detachable V-shaped bib that covers the entire
front and hooks at the shoulder. The skirt has a
muslin underskirt from waist to hips,and front and
back over-skirts with gathered detail. Lace edges
the neckline,cuffs,bib,and overskirts. Circa 1870.

Of a densely-woven linsey-woolsey fabric in a
muted plaid design of aqua blue,pale blue and
cream,the ensemble includes a fitted basque jacket
with coat sleeves and lace trim at the neckline
and cuffs; an under skirt with flat front panel
and box pleats at the back,and a dainty over-skirt
the generous flounce at the back. The pieces are
enhanced with blue piping. The costume is
faded,and the back of the underskirt has wear.

brown woolen fabric is intricately woven with
blue,gold and brown dots raised as though
embroidered,forming a fitted front long jacket
with handmade aqua button holes and silver
buttons,long coat sleeves,and an elaborately
constructed bustle-back decorated with a large
aqua silk bow. Their is richly-gathered lace
detail at the cuffs and neckline with a stand-up
lace collar. The jacket is designed to worn with a
simple skirt that would extend about 2" below the
jacket hem. Circa 1875.

length. Of ecru cotton printed with abstract
design of brown leaves,the dress features a fitted
yoke above a front panel with dropped waist
achieved by elaborate ruching at the yoke and
hips; the design is repeated at the back along
with a row of eight handmade buttons and button
holes. The sleeves are edged with
self-ruffle,which is repeated at the neckline and
arond the hem. A brown silk faille bow decorates
the back hips. Along with a brown patterned velvet
cap with brown silk bows and streamers. Circa 1882. $

light brown color features jacket-styling with a
center panel of red silk; the jacket gains shape
from ruching at the collar edge and hips,and there
is ruching at the center back neckline falling
into three box pleats that are decorated by a wide
red silk hip sash. An attached matching skirt
completes the dress. The ensemble is decorated
with lace. feather-stitching,and bands of
grosgrain ribbon. Circa 1884.

waist,flat-front skirt with shaped pleats around

black silk sash. The dress is decorated with a
quilted silk collar having embroidery details and
scalloped lace edging. Included is a tulle bonnet
with padded silk lining,elaborately-ruffled lace
edging with a crown of lace and frou-frou ribbons.
