French 1930s Studio Cloth Doll in Stylish Costume

24" (61 cm.) Felt swivel head pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes with highly-glazed finish, blue/grey lower eyeshadow, rose-blushed upper eyeshadow, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with bow-shaped lips, impressed dimples at philtrum and chin, brown mohair curly hair in stylized manner with felt rose accent, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent, few tiny moth holes. Comments: French studio doll, 1930s. Value Points: fabulous vibrant colors of costume, great facial expression with dramatic painting around eyes.
