Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, brilliant cobalt blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted dark lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with delicately-painted lips, ears pierced into head, brunette human hair wig over cork pate, French all-wooden body with shapely torso, elongated limbs, swivel waist, dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent, early light retouch on body. Comments: French, circa 1867. Value Points: early model wooden body with deluxe articulation, very expressive rare facial model.
