8" (20 cm.) The firm-bound streamer trunk with leather cover has wooden slats and leather straps and bail handles, with metal studs, with original label of candy maker "Boissier". The box was first presented as a candy box container from the confiserie of Boissier, and later used by children as a steamer trunk for their dolls. Excellent condition. French, circa 1885.
