French Lithographed Tin Windmill as Candy Container

13" (33 cm.) The tin candy container, in the shape of a mill with flagpole and revolving windmill has richly lithographed designs depicting the mill exterior, a young lad leaning on the upper window above a sign "Le Moulin de la Galette", and a woman standing at the base, pointing to the selection of candies. Marked Modele Depose and letters CG intertwined. The tile-decorated roof removes for access to the candy interior. Very good condition. French, late 1800s.
