Bisque head with flat-cut neck socket, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, brunette mohair wig, attached in mannequin form with linen-over-firm-shaped torso, custom-padding at shoulders to accommodate costume, cast iron boots, and wooden arms with dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows and wrists, and with fully-articulated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Stockman Paris 4 (body). Comments; French, Stockman circa 1890, with commissioned bisque mannequin head, possibly Simon and Halbig for Jumeau. Value Points: wearing antique red woolen uniform with cap, the mannequin has rare articulated fingers.
