10" (25 cm.) Standing upon a three-wheeled tin platform is a bisque head lady with cobalt blue eyes, painted features, closed mouth, blonde mohair wig, carton torso, wire upper arms and legs, paper mache legs with original glued-on shoes, bisque hands. When wound, the toy wheels around and forward, and she waves her arms as though offering flowers for sale. Condition: generally excellent, mechanism functions well. Comments: French attributed to Vichy, circa 1865. Value Points: charming early toy, original (frail) costume.
