Porcelain shoulderhead with light pink tinted complexion, black sculpted hair tight to scalp with enhancing feathered details around the face, brilliant painted cobalt blue eyes, black upper eyeliner, painted all-around lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, French kid hand-stitched poupee body with shapely waist, stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent, body original and especially sturdy. Comments: French, attributed to early dolls by Gaultier, circa 1860. Value Points: rare model with beautiful painting, sturdy original body, antique blue woolen gown, undergarments, leather slippers.
