French Presentation Box with Bisque Miniature Doll, Trousseau and Accessories

7 1/2" (19 cm.) doll. 16" x 12" box. A firm card stock box has rich decorative paper covers and window lid which reveals the well-fitted interior centered by a miniature bisque doll with large blue glass sleep eyes, painted features, open mouth, tiny teeth, blonde mohair wig, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, wearing blue silk dress and bonnet, socks and shoes. The box has six various lace-edged compartments which display two additional dresses with various undergarments, bonnet, muff, hankies, toiletries, opera glasses, comb and brush, and more. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: S&H Germany (doll). Comments: for the French market, likely Au Nain Bleu, the Parisian doll shop, circa 1900. Value Points: fine state of preservation, the doll and her objects are still tied into the box with blue silk bows.
