German All-Bisque Kneeling Child by Gebruder Heubach

One-piece bisque figure of young child, posed kneeling with arms held to sides of head as though covering his ears, sculpted brown hair with forelock curls, painted blue side-glancing eyes with intaglio detail, closed mouth modeled as though open. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: especially fine detail of modeling including back of doll with well-defined fingers and curls tumbling onto his back torso.
