German All-Bisque Miniature Doll with Bare Feet by Kestner

7" (18 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, peg-jointed arms and shapely legs with tiny ankles, bare feet. Condition: generally excellent, few tiny flakes at stringing holes. Marks: 2 1/2. Comments: Kestner, circa 1882. Value Points: delightful rare all-bisque with slight piquant smile, rare bare feet, antique costume.
