German All-Bisque Miniature Doll with Rare Painted Pale Rose Ankle Boots

7" (18 cm.) Solid domed bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, cobalt blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted white knee socks with blue rimes, pale pink heeled ankle boots, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to Simon and Halbig, circa 1880. Value Points: very fine all-bisque, wonderfully-detailed body, expressive features, rare painted boots.
