Ebony-black complexioned bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, slightly-modeled brushstroked brows with decorative glaze, accented nostrils of upturned nose, open mouth with very full coral-shaded lips, row of porcelain teeth, pierced ears, black mohair wig, black composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1358 Germany S&H Simon & Halbig 8. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900. Value Points: very beautiful and flawless complexion with luminous gleam, superb painting of lips, original wig, fine antique costume comprising burgundy knit woolen dress with sash, woven bonnet, wooden-handled parasol, undergarments, stockings, shoes.
