18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted blue eyes with glazed highlights, thick black upper eyeliner, one-stroke tapered brows, closed mouth with very full shaded lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 101 46. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1909, from their art character reform series, the model marketed as "Marie". Value Points: especially fine detail of modeling with well-defined facial features, fine quality of bisque and painting original body and body finish, beautiful antique costume.
