Bisque socket head, painted facial features, blue eyes with shaded details, black upper eyeliner, white eyedots, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth appearing as though open with painted row of teeth, smiling expression with shaded and accented lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent wig pulls at back of head. Marks: 151 S&H 2. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1910, from their very rare art character series. Value Points: the rare character has exceptional modeling, deeply sculpted dimples and laughter lines on cheeks and around the mouth, fine gleaming bisque.
