10" (25 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, two porcelain upper teeth, tongue, brunette mohair bobbed wig over plaster pate, composition bent limb baby body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: A made in Germany 5 247 JDK 5. Comments: Kestner, their model referred to by collectors as Baby Jean, circa 1914. Value Points: most appealing petite size enhanced by wonderfully-impressed cheek dimples, double chin, eye crinkles, and with original body and body finish, beautiful antique baby gown.
